Courage, determination, nobility of character and leadership embody the emblem of the Lion King or Queen, called “the King of the beasts”. Lion is also associated with ferocity, “roaring like a lion” when challenged. The Proud Lion governs will and authority. As the sun bestows light and life, the benefactor of every living thing, the Lion is also identified with grandeur and generosity of spirit.
