Triquetra
This widely recognized knot has been used for centuries as a sign of unique things and persons: the Triple Goddess, Past, Present, and Future; Body, Mind, and Spirit; Land, Sea, and Sky; and the Holy Trinity.
The triquetra is often found in Irish Insular art, most notably in metalwork and illuminated manuscripts like the Book of Kells. Today, the triquetra is often used artistically as a design element in Celtic knotwork. Many who identify as Modern Celts may use the symbol to display their identification with Celtic culture.
