Maltese Cross Earrings

The design known as the Maltese Cross has been associated with the Knights of Malta, initially referred to as the Order of Knights Hospitaller (displayed on a white or silver background against a black background). The Knights Templar (Displayed on a red background against a white background), also known as the “Rosy Cross”.

The “Maltese Cross” is a symbol adopted by many fire departments in the United States today. The eight-point Maltese Cross is an international symbol of the fire service’s willingness to make great sacrifices to protect others from the ravages of fire.
