Thor’s Hammer

Thor was the Nordic God of thunder and lightning, a mighty warrior akin to Zeus or Hercules. Thor was widely worshiped in pre-Christian Europe, and until the 11th century, shrines in Scandinavia and England were devoted to his worship. As a talisman, it is revered as a source of power, particularly for those about to enter the field of battle.
